How to Order
So, you’ve got films and you need them digitized! First, gather your items that you’d like to have digitize, then have a look at our Pricing page. That should give you an idea of how our services fit in to your budget.
Next, take a photo of your items and email it to us. Include any special requests and questions that you may have, as well as a return address. We will respond with a fair quote based on our simple pricing model and the apparent condition of the items. We will also provide information on payment methods and our shipping address at that time. Payment is not required at this point in the process.
Finally, box up your films and mail them our way! If you prefer to receive your files on some removable media (such as an SD card or thumb drive), then include that as well. Payment is due upon completion, after we show you a sample of your digitized films.
For inexperienced shippers, we have prepared a simple how-to for sending us your films.
When do I get my files?
Upon the completion of the transfer, we will send you a sample of the scan along with a Square invoice for the work.
After you approve the sample, and the payment is completed, we will make your MP4 files available for download! We keep them around for 7 days or until you request deletion – whichever comes first.
Meanwhile, we box up your items and get them right back in the mail. Unless otherwise requested, we will use USPS Priority Mail purchased through Pirate Ship. The going rate seems to be $8-15 for sending to most places in the U.S.
What payment methods are accepted?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover cards are accepted by our invoicing software. If you want to pay by check, let us know and we’ll try to work something out.
